Phosphate-solubilizing bacteria (PSB) are used in the formulation of Bio-P, an efficient biofertilizer that aids in converting the soil  fixed and insoluble forms of phosphorus into forms that plants can use. This guarantees a consistent flow of easily accessible phosphate, which is necessary for robust root formation and robust crop development. The PSB microbes in Bio-P naturally increase soil fertility and boost the effectiveness of phosphorus uptake.

Microphos PSB contains beneficial phosphorus-solubilizing bacteria that multiply rapidly once applied to the soil. These bacteria release organic acids that dissolve fixed phosphorus, converting 85–90% of the unavailable phosphorus into plant-available forms. In addition, Microphos PSB stimulates strong root development, supporting vigorous early-stage seedling growth and enabling roots to access phosphorus from wider soil zones. By improving phosphorus uptake efficiency, Microphos PSB enhances the effectiveness of fertilizers and helps farmers reduce excessive fertilizer usage and input costs.
